Long day, long day! Work and school were good today and looking forward to tomorrow. Tomorrow the boys and I tackle the building and the contents there of. As the boys call it, a treasure hunt.
In baseball terms, I got called up tonight. I’ll be preaching the Sunday morning service December 27th. I can’t wait!
Our neighbors down the road, the ones who decorated so early for Halloween, are at it again. I drove by tonight and there was Christmas in all it’s glory.
We had the Paquette family, missionaries to Mexico, at church yesterday. What a great family! They are doing a great work in central Mexico amid gangs and drug wars. I would love to take the family on the field to visit one of our missionary families. Hopefully in the future!
I hate you FoodNetwork close to Thanksgiving! Thanksgiving Meal Challenge, Dinners Drive-Ins and Dives Thanksgiving Edition, Iron Chef Thanksgiving. Where can I buy a Turducken?
Casey has been introduced to Pirate talk on Facebook. It is funny to see her open her computer and start giggling.
I finished up a freelance job with the Army this week. It involved documenting environmental support for war machines and I have no clue what the data meant. But it worked great and looked good!
Next onto the global supply chain freelance job….
Great saying from Jesus in Matthew 23:24 – “Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.”
Talked to my brother today for the first time in a few weeks. Thankful that we can pick up where we left off like no time has passed. It will be good to see him over Thanksgiving.
Do you think Casey’s parents would be ok with me rechanneling the creek so that we had a moat around the house?
When we were trying to explain to the boys the whole process of selling a house B2 asked me if someone offered us more than we asked would we accept it. I asked him if he was selling me a toy and wanted a dollar for it would he be ok if I gave him $3 for it. It was like a light bulb went off. Uh, yeah I would.
Friends of ours are coming home from the hospital tomorrow with their new son! We are praying for you guys. Someone told us a while back when we asked them about multiples that two was still ok because you can play man to man defense. Three and above you have to switch to the zone!
We need to take some new pictures! The pickings are slim on looking for something to post. I’ll take some pictures of the building and the garage tomorrow. I’ll post a picture of junk…I mean treasure and you can comment what you want me to drop off at your house. That sounds like a plan!
I’ll leave you with this picture of B2 & B1 from our infamous holiday photo shoot.
