Whatcha Reading?

OK, so it has been a long day today.  I’m sitting here drifting off while posting.  I wanted to take a minute and ask all our reader what they are currently reading.  Leave a comment of what you are reading and if someone else should read it.

I’m currently reading:

A commentary of John

Church Administration Manual

Blue Like Jazz by Donald Miller

Listening to Outliers by Malcom Gladwell

and of course…..The Bible!

  1. Oh yeah Rebecca, let me know how that book is.

    My Current Books
Listening to Crazy Love by Francis Chan
A Millions Miles in a Thousand Years by Don Miller

  2. I will – so far it’s good! Also reading The New Strong-Willed Child by James Dobson. I haven’t gotten far in that one though.

Has anyone read Bringing Up Boys? I wonder if it’s worth my time?

  3. 🙂 Wow, thanks! I will get that one next. Constantly seeking parenting advice, scripture and books to read on the subject….and keeping up with you two, some of the best parents I know! Thanks!!

  4. Sorry, I haven’t been reading any parenting books lately.
My church book club just finished “90 Minutes in Heaven.” This is a story about a Baptist minister who is involved in a horrific car accident. He’s pronounced dead and spends 90 minutes in heaven. A fellow Christian happens upon the accident and prays for him. The minister lives and questions why. One thing that I’ve learned from this book: if I am ever involved in any kind of tragedy and someone asks , “Is there anything I can do?” I will think of something, no mater how minute. Won’t bore you with some of the other books I’ve read recently. But if you like Southern literature by any chance, I’ve got a couple of great titles.
