So this post is about 3 months too late since, much to my disappointment, summer is on the way out. But I’ll share anyway because I could totally eat this in the dead of winter. You could call it snow cream instead of sherbet. I’ll warn you it’s really difficult, NOT! It’s very easy to make, the hardest part is having to wait for it to freeze in the ice cream maker.
Orange Pineapple Sherbet
2 liter Sunkist
Ice cream salt
2 Ice bags
1 can crushed pineapple
1 can sweetened condensed milk
Mix Sunkist, pineapple, and milk together, pour into ice cream maker canister, set into ice cream maker bucket and layer ice, salt, ice salt leaving about an inch from the top of the canister. Plug it in, be patient.
We just love this, we try to make it at least once a year and this year we had it during B4′s birthday party. It’s cold, refreshing, and fruity, yum! Do you guys have any summer desserts to share? I would love to hear them because, well, I love desserts.
Now I’m feeling rather guilty because I haven’t shared many pictures lately because I haven’t taken many pictures lately. That prompted me to get out the camera tonight to show you B4′s bedtime hair. What hair you say? Well, just take a look, ahem, very closely and you can see she does in fact have a little hair coming in and it looks like this after her bath.
