Because Blessings Are Meant To Be Shared

As a married couple with children their aren’t lots of things that a husband and wife share alone. Our time together is almost always consumed with the task of parenting. Occasionally we share a meal alone and some evenings we share a few conversations after the kids are in bed but most nights the weariness of the day wins. We steal moments when we can but they are short lived and we know that, for now, those moments have to be enough. We’re in the midst of one of the most important jobs a person can have so we give up some alone time, praying that one day we will still have time to catch up.

There are things sprinkled throughout this journey, though, that afford us special times together. Sharing things between just the two of us that we wrap in love and prayers together before sharing with anyone else.

As I search through my closet looking for something to disguise I realize our time has run out and I’m okay with that now. We’ve shared our glances, our prayers and our laughs for weeks now.

Please join us in prayers and celebration for our newest blessing that, Lord willing, we will meet this fall!
