Twas the night before Mother’s Day and all through the house not a kid was stirring not even a mouse. The clothes were ironed and ready with care…. ok I will go to the tried and true chapter that says it better. Proverbs 31.
10Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.
26She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.
28Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.
30Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.
These are a few verses taken out of Proverbs 31 that stand out to me. I thank God every morning for my wife! Sometimes it saddens me to see the girls that are being raised around us. Who can find a virtuous woman? Who will our blessings marry?
When strange ideas and such come from me she openeth her mouth with wisdom and never makes me feel too crazy. She comes to me with kindness. Verse 28 is something we all should strive for, when we arise do we call her blessed? Husbands? Kids? What does she do for your family? Don’t take it for granted! Call her blessed, shower her with praise!
Happy Mother’s Day!
