Wow, nine years! It seems like yesterday we were bringing you home from the hospital. I think your mom was a little scared of what would hold in store for us. I had to be her rock, reassuring her that we would be fine with two young ones. 🙂
True to form we went to “your” spot, O’ Charlies. I’m pretty sure we went there last year and of course that’s where we ate the night you were born. I think you love the Mountain Dew and yeast rolls. I can always live through you with those. You have really grown this year. Your love for all things reading and science. You always amaze me with your knowledge and excitement. One minute you want to be a scientist, with your great assistant B4 and then you want to become a drone pilot. I enjoy your excitement for life and quick wit.
I pray that you will continue to seek God’s will for your life and stay in the Word. He has great plans for you and I cannot wait to see what grand things you will accomplish! The combination of your carefree attitude and tender heart is truly unique. As you get older I know I will encounter more and more bruises with your outward signs of emotion. The bump hug, jumping on me or catching me when I least expect it, I wouldn’t change it for the world. Happy Birthday me and your mom love you so much!
