I have a crafty son. Beyond that he’s pretty ingenious in his ability to recycle (or to use a more current word, re-purpose). When he asked me earlier today to search for a craft he could do with old baseball cards, I was all over it.
We kinda have a past in this family concerning baseball cards. It starts with my husband bringing boxes upon boxes into the marriage and ends with me very gently encouraging him to sell 90% of them at a yard sell before our last move. Can anyone relate?
Turns out that other people have had similar problems so I did actually come up with a few ideas concerns old baseball cards. Here’s a list, you can thank me later.
1. A baseball card party banner, very cute.
2. Baseball card purse

3. Baseball card wallet
4. Baseball card decoupaged table
And last but certainly not least, my favorite actually.
5. Toilet Seat
Okay there isn’t actually a lot out there that’s worth doing so maybe the best option is to just throw them out. In which case you should go ahead and get a sign like this one from Custom Signs and Plagues, because you’ll totally get blamed for that.
